Original / Alife NOTES In 2003, adidas collaborated with New York artists Alife to produce an all-white Top Ten.

The adidas Top Ten made an instant impact on basketball courts around the world when it was first released in 1979. The high tops were more extreme than you could imagine, and the padded ankle collar gave the low tops a touch of class.

Over the years, the Top Ten was produced in a multitude of colourways, but the most recognizable is the white / navy, which has a splash of red on the ankle collar, adidas also created special versions for college basketball teams in exclusive colourways (not available for retail) – for example, a version with a red upper, adidas stopped producing the Top Ten in 1983, but it was reissued in 2002.
