This shoe was worn at the World Handball Championship in Germany in the late 70s.

 The adidas Handball Spezial was an extremely lightweight shoe for indoor sports. The upper was made of velour, with additional padding, and the outsole had a four-zone sole construction for the quick stops and turns that handball demands. In 1982, adidas produced the Handball Spezial in white / blue, white / red, and white / black colourways.
